great got 65 for the qual. How does he even decide the rules for being correct or not. they are like the most subjective HITs out there.
The artwork itself isn't too subjective. Most of the stuff definitely fits into certain categories. The whole matching with other workers thing/new bonus structure is kind of ridiculous, though. And fuck everything about having to monitor my qual score.
It's really the fourth tag that kills it for me. There literally is no honestly applicable fourth tag for a lot of these. I did a lot of hits on previous batches and have an 82, which I interpret as most people are finding the first three tags fairly obvious and the fourth is just a shot in the dark, and now that the previous bonus for any match requires all four to match, he can just suck it.
Those rejections on TO were overturned. They didn't update their ratings. Hmmm...it really depends on the piece. 4 isn't too bad if you can take the color and style and period into consideration. But yeah, that new bonus structure is ridiculous - I'm pretty sure you only needed one (or at most, two) tags to match before.
Well, he's not rejecting for honest effort from the sound of it, even if nothing matches. The subjectivity really only applies for the bonus, which is pretty goofy I agree. But pop is kind of its own animal and fairly easy to recognize. Haven't seen much of that. Urban is easy to recognize for sure. Edgy is sort of borderline. I think I've used it a grand total of once. Representational is super common. Not seen much humor mixed in there. Etc. Matching 4 for that bonus will be a PIA, though. Good luck to anyone who sticks with him through this fuckery.

I'm not entirely convinced this is a bad thing, LOL. For srs, if not for the guaranteed bonus, I would've never touched the first few batches. Now with the new structure, they're entirely not worth. He's better off tossing a few bucks to an Art History student to get these things classified if that's what he's after. I did shit just like that when I was in college.
