It's a shame that a company with insane revenue like Google would be pulling such shitty moves on their research.

Then again, it isn't far fetched that the level of shitty work they get isn't worth paying much for anymore.

  2. They're definitely doing some weird things. I had a Percy approve yesterday 12 hours after the auto-approval time.

That's the double-edged sword with a requester that rarely/never rejects: they attract all the scammers, making them either leave the platform altogether, or start paying garbage for garbage.

  4. Damn I really want a taco bowl now. Who sells them?

46,000+ Endors up now. How many British English speakers do they think there are on Mturk?

I always wonder if the writing projects finish or leave, and if the researchers or labs let other similar projects know if mturk is a viable platform. People clearly script shitty results or write stuff far simpler than the examples they give on a regular basis. Requesters rejecting and blocking for crappy work should be more common, as should custom quals, but the way workers cry out about rejections/blocks and the lack of super easy qual management (as I understand it) probably turn off a lot of requesters from working with their results and then, like you said, maybe just abandoning the platform.

  10. Wendy's does too I believe

  11. They used to but not anymore. I regularly eat the spicy chicken caesar salad. Did today as a matter of fact.

  12. Didn't Endors pay more than .05 before...

I want to say that they've ranged from 3 cents to 6 cents depending on the batch. They may have been higher at the very beginning, but I'm too lazy to look it up.

Maybe all the British people are holding out for better pay and that's why they're not dropping.

That's a casual reminder to people checking in that those Endors aren't for American speakers, since people have missed that repeatedly all day.

I confess I did a couple before noticing that, too.
