Well, thank you for that reminder. I was about to dive right in. So, I guess it's Cheerio ol' chap for me. I am gonna go bugger off now and watch a movie.
I am guessing they used words with more than one syllable. Hence the need for masters. I wouldn't know of course. Me need small easy words.
Off topic...I have a question. So my bf is all about working out, takes supplements, stuff I don't understand, works out and said the following....he was talking about estrogen blockers...saying that they are good for women too... His words, "they say it helps with not growing hair on your chin, or any facial hair and also helps you lose weight cause women after 40 produce too much not allowing them to burn fat and start to have excess facial hair." So, I guess you all think I'm this fat bearded woman...but the question is...would you take this personal? Or am I taking it personal? Yes, I'm over 40, I work out 5 days a week, Usually run about 4 miles a day or if at the gym... 30 on the stair master and 30 on the treadmill/elliptical. Yes, as a Hispanic woman I do have facial hair that I've always dealt with, wax...what not.... but this comment made me feel super insecure. Any feelings on the topic, good or bad, positive or negative...I just want a feel for people out there.
From what I remember they used to pay .08-.11 but we had to use vocaroo. So, I suppose they feel that since we don't have to record and drag the recording url over, they are now worth .03-.05
Supplements are woo. Science & evidence first, boyfriends much later. Seek professional (e.g., MDs) advice, not an mturk forum (lol which somehow precludes this reply).
If your boyfriend has any questions about supplements or if you want to do your own research I would recommend anyone to research on examine.com http://examine.com/supplements/
I'm not seeking it for medical advice...I'm just asking if anyone would take it personal. I feel better and more confident in all aspects at 40+ then I did in my 30's but somehow this comment made me question some things...not just self esteem, but relationship wise. I personally don't go to MD's for any reason, I'm just that type of person, I don't take advil, cold medicine, aspirin, anything. so not sure how an MD can answer if his comment would be offensive to a woman.
Thanks. I guess my issue is him assuming that I need help with facial hair and weight loss issues. Like I said to some other post, I don't believe in any extra supplements other than food. I had vaccines, thanks to my mother but that's about it, no actually I did have an epidural when I had my daughter but that's it, and that was almost 20 years ago.
He probably thought he was being helpful based on that quote. Have you ever expressed frustration about trying to lose weight or having to wax? He may have thought he was helping you out by suggesting you take the supplements. I don't know how his tone or expression was at the time but I personally wouldn't take offense based off what you just shared.
I just bought a pack of airheads and damn airheads are good. I don't think I've one since like middle school.
Bertha - I would take it personally at first and immediately run for the magnifying mirror! And then I would think about it some more and think it was very cool that my SO felt secure enough with me and comfortable enough with me to talk about things like this. Sounds like a healthy relationship to me.
What's funny is that he takes all that shit and anytime he sits still he falls asleep. Doesn't matter what time of day it is, he goes horizontal, he doses off.

Reading your post has brought up something...I have said that I need to wax/shave more often...not just wax facially but everywhere, I mean everywhere. It grows faster and thicker. Ah man, maybe that was it.
