There have been several occasions where I went to accept a hit and got a similar message. I always send a polite email asking why (never been rejected, this risks my account, etc). Each time, I have gotten a response saying "this is similar to a study we ran awhile ago and want to prevent retakes, we will remove block after study done, this is how Amazon tells us to do it). I have never heard from Amazon. One time, the requester told me that it was similar to a study she had run 18 months earlier.
