Looks like it's a screener itself. Possibly only giving out codes to the ones that meet their demographics then the ones that don't are to return the survey? That's not right either way.
I feel your pain. I get pissed when I fill out demographic info, and am rejected for a larger survey. Put your bleeping requirements on the hit page, and I'll decide if I'm a fit.
The numbers or 3D shapes? It's really up to you... they are basically like PDRIs. I think like 50 questions in each. 15-20 mins probably
that's why they don't do that. Too many liars. I get why they do it but they all need to pay for it. You have people who are male, female, 56, 23, have children, are college students, CEOS of huge ass companies... all in the same person depending on the survey
Survey I did earlier screened me out because I was to good at addition and subtraction after at least 25 math questions. WTF is that shit?
I guess I'm confused because I'm honest. I've gone through some screeners thinking "I'm about to get the rejection hotline."
I did the number sequence one and I got to number 39 when the hour timer ran out. I hope they approve it since I got stuck on hard ones for a while.
Looks like it. Got a message back from the person listed in the survey information page. Sounds like a grad student posted. Even if this is the case, they should make it known that might not be given code in the page.
Evening all. Of course when I noticed the thread discussion and, for who knows what reason, I proceed to take the survey expecting to get the "no thanks" message and then be pissed. I got to the end and got a code as well as "thanks for participating . . . here is your code"
Saw it, missed it. I put it on panda and caught it. Requester Lori Young Title: Answer a survey about your opinions NOT masters $2.00 for 8 minutes Panda: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/previewandaccept?groupId=34KQN2TBLU1FCQ47VYDKHLTRA17AST
Another bat in the house. How many of these do I have to kill to show them I'm pretending I'm not afraid of bats?
That would piss me off. I remember a survey about a month or so ago that was Cory-type painful. After a few pages of bubbles, you had to play a Simon type of game where in between each round a letter would flash on the screen for a few seconds. You then had to repeat the color sequence and the letters. Then it was the shit where one color-one letter-one color-one-letter . . . and at the end you had to enter both sequences. If you did not respond with 5 seconds when prompted . . it booted you out (so no money) Also, it kept track of your accuracy and said that, if your accuracy fell below 80% then your data would be useless to them b/c you were not paying attention so you would be booted. It got up to color/letter sequences of 12. It said not to use a pencil b/c that would not given them helpful data. It was slow w/o anything up and I was determined to get paid . . . all I can say is that I was happy to have a pen near me which I used to scribble all over a magazine I just happened to have by me. Got my few dollars from the underpaid garbage . . . Felt silly for spending the time but not bad about the pen
