1. cooking timers isn't scamming per se 2. if you are complaining about how other turkers do their work, and expect everyone to do it like you do, you're delusional. they are going to do what suits them and if you suffer from it, well that's the nature of the business. it's pointless to complain about it now shut up and have a burg
So essentially what you are saying is that if you are accepting more than one hit at a time then you are scamming, even though Amazon allows you up to 25 at a time. I guess you accept a hit do it and then look for another hit, because otherwise you would be scamming timers.
Here, have a nickel Title: Complete a quick task (Two HITs Per Worker) (Cannot preview due to quals) Requester: Desired Solutions [A3UWM3KJYEL5XU] (TO) TO Ratings: ☢☢☢☢☢ 4.00 Communicativity ☢☢☢☢☢ 4.20 Generosity ☢☢☢☢☢ 4.20 Fairness ☢☢☢☢☢ 4.20 Promptness Number of Reviews: 5 (Submit a new TO rating for this requester) Description: Complete Task as Instructed Time: 20 minutes Reward: $0.05 Qualifications: MTF is greater than 1, Total approved HITs is not less than 0, HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 95
There is a difference between working through your queue and holding onto a hit in your queue knowing it's already completed. That's what was being stated and that's what we were discussing. That's all I am going to say on it. I am done with the conversation.
I don't know if this is happening for you guys too, but if you're having trouble submitting a Cobb and you think it submitted you might want to check your Hits Assigned to You. I had a bunch there I didn't even know about!! On that note, as much as I hate to, I HAVE to get some sleep....happy turking
So you never ever except more than one hit at a time right? Otherwise your time wont be 100% accurate and you are scamming requesters by what you keep saying. Maybe you should ask Amazon to do away with the cue cuz they are helping scam requesters by letting people accept more than one hit at time. Me I'm gonna go ahead and use the tools they gave me instead.
was doing $15/hour on these once I got the hang of them got 103 in so much weird stuff and I only actually found one business where it was supposed to be I even had one where the streetview put me INSIDE of some sort of art museum for some reason
But according to you posts, accepting a bunch of surveys and then doing them at your leisure is giving requesters a false sense of the time it took to complete the survey, so in turn you are scamming the requester. How is that any different that what you are saying? You are saying that if you are accepting a hit and not immediately completing it you are scamming.
The point you are making is if the time is off it's unfair to the requester. If you work fro cue the time will be off.
No what I was saying is that requesters have told me before that they don't believe the time it took on surveys anymore because people cook timers all the time. Which is why a lot of surveys say that you need to complete it in one sitting. I am simply bringing up the fact that cooking timers doesn't have an effect because they already know it's happening. Pay drops because someone is willing to do it at that price. Simple as that. If there wasn't it would never drop. Has nothing to do with time in the end. Also on most surveys, they are coded to keep time only when the survey is opened, not while it is in your queue.
Maybe you should go back to the beginning of the argument where adaaaam was bitching about people not cooking the timers. There's a difference between filling your QUEUE and purposely withholding a HIT to make it look like it took you longer than it did. One is working smart and the other smells scammy.
