Reply from amazon care...... Hello, Due to the level of interest from Workers all over the world, it’s difficult to determine when this will be completed. New workers are no longer supported to our program. We are running out of time to settle down all the issues associated with AT. I know you’re excited to get started, and I’m sorry I’m not able to provide additional insight. Thanks for your continued patience. Thank you for your inquiry. Did I solve your problem?
" New workers are no longer supported to our program" "We are running out of time to settle down all the issues associated with AT." That's scary.
Don't really like the sound of this Just makes me realise I perhaps rely on MTurk a little more than i should..
"we are running out of time to settle down all the issues with AT" AT, what is 'AT'? The service's acronym is AMT... I would think somebody close enough to this information in customer care would be able to write a proper email.
They usually have Indians replying to the customer support emails.. I have to email them roughly 10 times a month whenever my Seller Central isn't working lol
I figured that much, but the point remains if customer care can release that in an email, why is there nothing public about it? Perhaps the writer's mistakes have exaggerated the issue.
That reponse has something wrong with it.. look at underlined. Due to the level of interest from Workers all over the world, it’s difficult to determine when this will be completed. New workers are no longer supported to our program. We are running out of time to settle down all the issues associated with AT. I ask the same. What is AT? Whoever got this email is assumed by the sender that they know this? Something is not right here... I too count on Mturk and would be devastated if something happened causing it to not be a means of income anymore =(
I don't remember why, but in April of this year Paypal required photo ID or some other more concrete form of identification for having a non-restricted account. Federal laws? Anyways...we're making money and Amazon is a filter in the process. Maybe, just maybe, they have to also implement another layer of verification. Here's to hoping this is a programming/implementation issue as opposed to an end of the road type issue. Either way, I'm scouring the internets about IC work.
I have nothing of significance to add here, other than booty and watari's responses were just great, got a big grin out of me. That message does seem a bit bizarre.
