They didn't go over 5k, and were only 20 secs or less a pop. So, I doubt it was an ABS strike. I only did 112 though.
That sucks and that isn't fair to you. Have you tried going to another location, a library maybe to test this out?
How much do you depend on turk for income? I get slightly pissy if my internet drops for a few hours but I couldn't imagine having to deal with that shit if I depended on turk to live
It isn't related to my Internet because all other sites work fine. And it does come back around eventually. But it is always during peak Turking hours. And to top if off, when everyone else is able to work, and you are not, it's incredibly demoralizing and frustrating. If this were a system-wide outage, I would just deal with it. But they clearly don't care about it when it only affects certain people. I'm not going to go starve or anything over a few hours interruption, but when it is a constant issue EVERY. SINGLE. FUCKING. DAY it makes me think Turking is just a waste. (for me at least) If it isn't fixed, I doubt I'll even keep Turking since it doesn't make sense to sit at your computer like a jackass when you can't work. Edit: People have already started forwarding Turk links to forums like this where people have been complaining to Turk support. Doubt it will do much, but I don't give a fuck at this point.
I'd be very pissy regardless. Comcast went down for 6 hours few days ago and that was no fun at all. I could turk on my phone but I pay for each data I use so never mind that. Comcast could only credit me $4 for the loss for those hours.
