Can be. Got some hideous McQueen skirt that was about to make me dieeeeee (Roast will feel me on this), and it was a cross between beige and red. And it was terrible. And awful. And I never want to see it again. But yeah that could've gone a few different ways depending on monitors for sure.

From color theory class, we were taught that everyone's perception of printed color is very different but still more or less the same. For instance, barring color blindness, blue is always perceived as blue, not red. However, colors displayed on a screen are not visible due to light reflection but by the screen giving off the light so everyone's perception of color is much closer in that presentation. Edit: but that stupid dress defied all theory and reason
