Sorry about that! Hopefully that will be fixed when we restart the batch. If it still happens, it's not a match!

That is what I put. There weren't bunches of them, but every so often, so I wanted to check.

I think it's safe to say that juice with 3 juice glasses would be a match. Since portion doesn't matter, it would be an ONLY match unless there are other things in the image.

For foreign languages, don't worry about that if you don't know it! I really do appreciate you looking them up though!

Another question....what if it has the correct thing, but something added on the end?
    Example: Berries. Yum

Someone took a picture of a tiny dog in a hotdog bun and put it for hotdog. Clearly not a match but it was funny.

So it says that if there are knives/spoons etc., laying around the outside to list it as "one of many" What if it is "cereal" and the pictures is a bowl of cereal with a spoon in it? Is it a match, or one of many??

It's safe to ignore the things like "Yum", "tasty", or "awesome".

It would be an ONLY match. I think we can safely say to ignore the presence of silverware, napkins, or plates (unless its something like a pile of forks on top of an enchilada).

I've been marking them One of Many if I saw a spoon/fork with a meal because of instructions that said:

"If the meal image contains small items near or around the meal, such as forks, spoons, napkins, or and knives, answer "The description is ONE OF A FEW things in the meal image."

o_O I think I might have put one of many for a couple of these then. The instructions were kind of vague on it and stated if there were napkins, forks, spoons etc, laying around it would be one of many. So i went with that option. Hopefully it won't be a big deal. btw, hi! :) and thanks for these hits and guidance.

Is this to help a learning program identify food? If so, then that helps a lot with some decisions on what is a full match and not.

For example, there was one where the match was technically right, it was "pizza" with a plate of pizza. But the plate was on this really bright blue tiling...so if it was for learning software putting not a full match would make the most sense.

That's fine - it's a tricky situation, and I'll try to clarify it on the next batch. Sorry about that!

I did for a lot of them too...Basically if it was just a little bit of a utensil or something I said a match, but if you could see all or most of it then I marked it one of many.

Ok I thought that , but since your instructions say "7. If the meal image contains small items near or around the meal, such as forks, spoons, napkins, or and knives, answer "The description is ONE OF A FEW things in the meal image."" I have been marking them as such.

So you want us to ignore silverware, napkins and plates.

We're just trying to match the meals and descriptions, so I wouldn't take any software considerations into account.

Yeah - sorry all on the distinction with something in a bowl/food as opposed to outside of a bowl! I'll clarify these on the next batch so that it's much clearer.

Don't worry about your answers on this batch - it was clearly my fault!

Don't apologize! You're being very accommodating with what I'm sure is a very wide range of subjective answers :)

It will probably be more than an hour before he can fix the hits. With the 1 hour timer and some people hogging them, I am sure there is still a few hundred out there accepted and not finished.
