Hi everyone I'm new to this board and just over a month old on mechanical turk. I recently did a batch of hits from this requester and had them rejected. I should of trusted my instincts on doing so many hits on a requester with no TO reviews. Anyways I'm wondering if they a requester gets enough bad reviews or get reported by enough people will this hits get reversed, eliminated, or will they stay the same?
Seems a lot of people are being rejected, they are talking about it in todays greatest hits thread. The answer to your question is if the requester is not willing to reverse them you are pretty much screwed.

I only did 2 thankfully. One rejected. Not like they were rocket science either. And one cent hits, ugh.

You must be right, I think I messed up with Amazon's API (that's how I approuve/reject your work). Believe me, I really want to know what's going on here. I will reverse all the rejected assignments AS SOON AS POSSIBLE !! Regards
Yep. Just got the same email. Responded back and told him thank you and would be lookin out for the reversals.
they'll get reversed. I meant how requesters will mass reject to screw people over and they then back peddle when the masses ruin their cred and become angry. They always claim it was an accident.

Looks like he's started the reversal process. I had 9 total rejected from him and 4 of them have been reversed since I got the email yesterday. Hopefully it won't take too long, I know people got high double digit rejections from him so hopefully they'll get reversed quick.
Hello everyone, I am the one responsible for this. I am deeply sorry, I am new to Turk and I used the API to access Amazon service. The reason why the rejection rate is so high is simple : I screwed up when i coded. But now I fixed it, I understood how to reverse a rejected hit and hopefully if you go check you account, the rejected hits were reversed. I dont know what else to say, I am deeply sorry and I feel ashamed for the mess that I caused. It was absolutely not my intention to screw you, as a requester we need Mturk to work on our project (datamining on products). I hope the problem is fixed now and that you will forgive us for this ! I understand how you feel wonkatonka and I cannot blame you for what you say. I am the one responsible for this mess and can only apologize for it. But i am new to mechanical turk, and I guess not a quite good programmer (I used the programable interface to submit, approve/reject the hits), I made a big mistake in my code an caused such a mess. Again sorry.
