I did the highest paying HIT ($5.62) but it's currently not up. You can only do one from this requester at the moment. It appears the pay is scaled to lenght so both these should take less time.

I hardly worked at all this week. I'm getting very bored with this stuff. I need a steady income.

Why are you expecting to lose your hand?

Couldn't do the SONY thing--they told me my speakers don't pass muster. Don't know why not--they cost almost ten dollars-- on sale....I think I just counted wrong. I wasn't too attentive...parro, I'm getting truly bored with this stuff, too. I waited five days to the Beatty HIT, and then was disappointed that it was so easy.....I've decided to cook bacon...at nearly 1am...oh, the life of a turker!

20 days I think. Apparently they are going to use every last day, approving a few here and a few there each day. Not worried, I just want my money now!

When I've done A9's before -- shoes and such -- they have been 24 hours.

I decided not to put my speakers to the test. They came with a cheapo computer I bought in 1995 (a midnight sale the day Windows 95 was released!) Been using them ever since. Sadly they are still MUCH better than the built-in speakers my year-old monitor has.

And yeah, boredom. My money goes in cycles, dropping to near nothing for weeks, then jumping back up when money runs short. Been pretty much sick of surveys lately -- tossing back underpaid, boring, inane surveys left and right because I just can't face them. The alternative of course is horribly underpaid boring batches. :(

Just had another 15 A9's approve in the last 20 minutes. Really not sure what on earth they are doing.

Check the obvious ones where one of the shirts was actually a glove or something, and the ones where the 2 pictures were identical. Spot check a handful to make sure I wasn't clicking at random. Then approve the lot.

It was basically an opinion anyhow. Given the lack of real instructions I'm sure we all had different criteria and scales anyhow.

OK, I am spending my time typing monologues here instead of actually working. Time to call it a night. :D

Yep, yes and agree. I had built-in speakers in my old Compaq monitor that finally gave up the ghost. And I just wanted something to use for common surveys--something cheap. Since I had a ''new'' refurbished Dell Optiplex(I bought for turking), I got a pair of little-bitty Dell speakers. Made sense, at least it did then...My set-up is now three years old and cost me less than 250 all told(bought with accumulated Amazon gift cards) and is perfect for this use...came with an equally cheap mouse and keyboard. Laptops burn up too fast. I like a big ole desktop...if I could just lie down in bed, all warm and comfortable with it...
