the only reason i can't move back to the midwest is because...there wouldn't be any In-N-Out burger and my life would be ruined.
The one I have seen was on Corbin Ave, I go out there when I am shopping at REI or in the valley sometimes. I think it opened a few years ago
That's really sad. I loved Matamoros. I still have dreams of Marisco del Golfo, which was the most amazing seafood restaurant ever. It was a shithole of a place and we'd be the only gringos in there, but the food was to die for. I guess there is no walking over the bridge to go to Garcias anymore, either. Blah, stupid drug wars.
Yeah I harvested some of the pandas too. Had to toss a couple back as they had the person and just too many transitions. Thankfully many of the rest were amateur videos where the person kept the subject in focus.
But, that creepy ass statue out in front is always a popular spot for teens to deface. That makes it worthwhile! (The one near us had to cement the damn thing down after being taken one too many times)
I wish TX had Dunkin Donuts or at least a starbucks every other 5 miles, the one thing about NY it was mad ez to get cawfee whenever whereever
I grew up in California and miss In-N-Out sometimes, but the one saving grace is that there's a Portillo's every six feet in Illinois and I love me a Chicago dog with celery salt and racing peppers.
You guys don't have to hate the WHOLE state. You should be fine with the Upper Peninsula. Most of them would rather be part of Wisconsin anyway. They only got stuck with Michigan because we lost a border war with you guys, so take pity on them.

The Love for Bob's from us LA people comes with a big helping of nostalgia. Back in the day the restaurants were brighter and more spacious than most of the other coffee shop chains and the burgers and shakes were unique and good. And B, best if you leave Shakey's a pleasant memory rather than trying to re-live your youth. Their pizza really isn't very good.
There are a few around, well worth checking out. I'm pretty sure they make them with crack and the coffee is good, too.
LOL! I went to Eastern Michigan and lived in Ypsilanti. That's basically Ann Arbor's ghetto, but they had the common sense to section us off into a separate city.
