So I'm 486 HITs in, and I finally got my first rejection. It was from Yi Wang on "Survey about your Personality and Preference (Active Twitter User Only)" where I allowed them to connect their API to my account. Their comment was "You failed to pass the attention check question, sorry". There's no way, I pay thorough attention to every question. It was only $1.50, but still, it's the principal. Is there anything I can do? I already messaged them asking for the question that showed I failed. Thanks.

Edit: just signed up for turkopticon to look up Yi Wang, and sounds like I'm not the only one . Is there a way to actually report them to Amazon?

You can ask, certainly. Will Amazon respond to your complaint? Doubtful. Amazon (from my observations) tends to stick by the Requestors like glue, the turk workers who do the work, not so much. I have lost track of how many Requestors I have reported to them for obvious TOS violations, yet the same requestors are allowed to continue day in and day out.

Amazon doesn't get involved in disputes between requesters and turkers. Your best case regarding rejections is to (politely) argue your case to the requester. Good luck!

Do you use Turkopticon? Yi Wang has a very, very bad rating. It would seem that rejections are extremely commonplace from the requester.

I didn't until today.. I had noticed their score in Turkmaster, but never read the notes. I will from here on out. Guess I need to be more cautious. Thanks for the input guys.
