What do we do when we can't copy and paste from some of these school lists? some of them are images or PDFs
If you're making them worth it do them. Turker's have a habit of not doing decent work if the requester previously had 'better' work, even if it still pays well
What they should do is offer 1-2 cents for each item on those school supply HITs. That way people feel more fairly compensated when working on a long one and won't cherry pick the short ones
