Does anyone remember how long for PDS_PN1 hits take to approve? I know the AA but that doesn't mean that is how long they typically approve.
This week sucked for me but yeah even without masters I pull in good money. Not 800 dollars a week most of the time but fairly good money Yeah. You really need to just take in this forum completely and learn everything from it. This forum is OK for getting hits but its real value lies in all the other information you can glean from it. Are you using all the tools people have talked about like the various scripts and extensions, AHK, hit scrapper all of those. That is one of the biggest steps to really raising your earnings potential.
I'm always using hit scraper, use turkmaster to catch some stuff. I've used AHK but I don't really do batches too much unless it's an easy one. I'm guessing that is my problem. Have to stop being picky about those. Thanks for the advice.
Is there a good tutorial site out there for using the MTurk tools? I know nothing about scrapers, scripts etc and really have to be led by the hand...LOL
Approved on the same day for me last time . Those lasted for ages today, guess the bad TO scared people off. They raised their pay from the last batch, too (.25 up to .30). Got in a lot of them today - they're probably the new grocery_roi.
Correct me where I'm wrong. I think it's about knowing what the best paying batches are and being able to make them into a productive hourly. Plus snagging some high paying surveys in between. For me, I'm still around 3500 approved so I'm a bit limited but the options should open up quite a bit once I get over 5k. I'm around $200 each week.
Batches are the best thing, really. When they're good, they give far more money than the majority of studies. Most people I know who make $500+ do not do surveys unless there's plain nothing around, or if it's like, 2-3m for $1+. Being smart with batches is a very good idea, if unsure just see if anyone else is doing it. I really don't see mass rejects unless the person messes up on their own or is taking advantage of a broken batch/obviously bad requester.
Yeah surveys are not going to get you money like that. If you want a bit of extra beer money or some mad money you'd be fine doing only surveys. If you want to actually make either enough money to survive or at least a large amount of supplemental income you'll need to either branch into something fairly skilled like writing, editing, transcription or do batches. This is not to say batches are not skilled they can be since they run a very wide gamut. If you want any general batch advice or advice specific to a batch always feel free to ask and someone on here should be able to help. Could also shoot me a PM and I'll try to help, my inbox is so lonely.
Though this is specific advice, a lot of my earnings are from my background with programming as well. The majority of batches I do are automated by browser plugins or content scripts I've made. For the average person, though, even learning AHK or another macro program is a big, big help for the majority of data entry tasks. If a script takes you 5 minutes to write, but cuts down the time per hit by 5 seconds, it's by far worth it.
Bolded part is right but not 100% sure if it's exactly like you meant it. It is all about knowing what the best batches are, but I want to stress that doesn't mean just knowing a list of good requesters with high paying batches, you should do this anyways, since requesters can come and go. The more important skill is being able to look at a batch and see if it can be made worthwhile and if it is doing it and if its not just moving along. Also yeah your doing good for where you are. Once you get to 5k it will be better.
Which quals are you referring to because I really don't have any secret quals that are making me a lot of money.
I got another rejection today because I took a survey twice. I really, honestly hate it when that happens. Give me a qual, screen me out, do whatever, but don't allow me to take it twice. I take hundreds of these surveys, and sometimes it can be really hard to tell that I have already taken one.
