    You can do your own hits?
    I was thinking the same thing in my struggle for 5000.
    penny hits that is only $50.
    heck...50 more for 10,000?

    I believe MTurk is currently closed to registration from everyone outside the US. Correct me if I'm wrong on that other folks, I don't keep up.

    The plus side is it seems like something he very, very rarely does.

    The negative side is when he does we got more than one instance on record that the explanation for it was "The reason I needed to do it is I needed to do it"

    I think you are right. It's not just Indian workers but workers outside of the US.

    I would be way too worried about Amazon blocking me to do my own HITs for numbers.

    We have a worker here, Manzican, who is from India and does very well so it's possible to do the work but it's not as easy as if you had a US IP address.

    Pretty easy from what I've heard...
    Find an excel chart that lists the fibonacci sequence, copy and paste that a few times so that there are 1000 rows and 1 column with the heading $survey, save as .csv

    Upload as requester where your batch has survey variable $survey and presto, you have 1000 available hits (that pay 0.00).

    Or you could do that once and grant the worker a qual that no one else can get, and then no one else can work on it.

    This is all theoretical, of course.

    You are correct, Canadian friend of mine wanted in recently and was shut down, then dug up a dormant account he signed up for years ago and never used that he went to work on

    So you aren't being penalized for being foreign, they just hate it if you're foreign RIGHT NOW
