I probably could. I won't though, I'll be happy with the $450. Now if he/she doesn't pay out, then I'll consider it. But looking at Turkopticon has shown that he/she's at least paid out on a $200 so I have faith he/she will. And on that note, if this is for a thesis, this was one of the laziest attempts for data collection I've seen. It looks like the person just put "Uganda" "[REDACTED]" into Google and pulled the first 100 links without looking at them. Some of them aren't even relevant.
Better check the front page of what you actually "signed" to do the HIT. That would be the legal call to who owned the information once the HIT was finished I suppose. Did you keep a copy like they usually suggest?

There was no front page type stuff on the HIT. A download of a excel spreadsheet I needed to fill out, a download of word document with instructions on how to fill out each column (only instructions), and on the hit itself just clarifying those instructions in the word document. No "signing" or anything of the sort. No lawyer-type information (my brain isn't working at 2am).
Did you keep copies of everything? If you don't care and get your money it doesn't matter but that at least in part will probably appear in published form somewhere. Someone with some bucks, who'd rather party or play high powered sports, needs to finish a college education but doesn't want to do the work. Or it's going to show up on the web as a paper that keeps on giving and all you got was 450.00.
hello, when you say songbird do you mean songkick? And when you say "Uganda" do you mean Nigeria? Because I post that $450 hit for "Nigeria Protest" $450 but replaced it with a different hit on the forum yesterday morning. The reason I did was because I was worried it might be a scam and did not want anyone to blame me if their bank account got wiped out or something. I hope you get paid, I am just a little confused on the title you are using and the title I posted.
