I help people for free too, including the two that are now paying students. It was only after they glimpsed my dashboard by accident during a stream that they realized they wanted to take it to a really high level, but there was no way I was going to teach them advanced theory and coding for free, not even for a flat rate. The cut was the only thing that made sense, ensuring I get proper compensation at a proper ratio. I also know that I'm transforming their lives in the process so the price is absolutely fair (when they start off making <$50/day and make progress toward clearing 275/day consistently, they're creeping on six figures/year and essentially going to fuck up the available HITs pool so the cut makes damn sense) (and touching on the how much they want to succeed bit, the more they want to, the more they make and the more I get from the cut, so since my time is valuable and I expect them to apply it fulltime then it's not wasted since they're gonna go HAM and my coaching was an investment in them wanting to succeed)
It would be lovely to search for all punctuation in a page and highlight it. Why doesn't CTRL+F do that by default? Gimme some or arguments.
I REALLY think Morrisa needs to teach Dancin' while you Turk lessons... Shakin' the honey, while makin' the money...
Cool. Like I said, whatever works for you. If you average $275/day long term then that is awesome. I have never seen anyone else that was able to do that. I pay my bills with another job so I don't have the energy to take turk too seriously for more then a couple hours a day. So the help I was speaking of is just the basics to help get someone started, and to the same level as an average forum member might be here.
The way I used to do it, I would wake up at night, then work until I hit $200 (sometimes taking all the way until 8AM). Then I wake up at night and try to double it before midnight, but usually stopping short at 300-<400 (unless I near-maxed on <.05 hits overnight, then my priority is filling the rest of my allotment with as high paying individual hits as possible, which often passes high 300s IF it's actually filling because it means a quarter batch or something is going on; if however I was not even close to max, my priority becomes just hitting 3800 before midnight and that leaves me landing anywhere from high 200s to under 400 depending on the math). The system I adopted now though, is drastically different since I have devote my time to streaming now, so it's more of a monitor-and-hit system (incorporated into the stream so I don't lose money to coaching) using desktop and mobile alerts. But in the end if you wanted to make $50/night there's really 2 ways to do it, just grind it with the hours or figure out a system where you have an edge that puts you over $20/h really (whether it's monitoring your super juicy requesters and not sharing it with forums or learning to program, or whatever you can figure out... if you've ever worked on hits that paid you $20+/h then you know that's the stuff you have to figure out how to do more of)
Someone really needs to tell me where I can find this guy. And whether or not he's single. Honestly? I do. LOL
The bad news is I only dance like this on special occasions. But I'm taking résumés. Please keep it to under a page though.

Yeah I know what you're saying I give basic help out for free too (also I don't average 275, it's higher some weeks and lower nowadays but offset by the coaching revenue. 275 is just the bare minimum you have to attain to reach six figures. Also all of this is relatively new to me in the grander timeline of things and I think I'm talking too much about it on such a public thread lol)
If you don't mind me asking what percentage do you take and is it permanent or just for a set amount of time. Feel totally free not to answer this just idle curiosity.
It's pretty hefty but it's not like I strongarmed anyone into doing anything, they both knew I was going to transform their lives and that they could quit mturk at anytime and become programmers. The agreements are for as long as they turk, but like I said this is all new to me and I don't even know if this is a good idea for the long run (but I'm betting it is by doing it)
