That TO was left by me, I'm just going to say be careful because the first batch of hits I did for them was rejected. The reason they gave was didn't follow the directions which was bull, it's very straight forward. After some contact they reversed them without too much issue. Also they cut the pay by 6 cents lol.

 

Those majority rules things scare me quite a bit.

Yeah in a response from one of the emails she said "There were a few workers who simply selected the same answer repeatedly, so I rejected their answers. It seems I was a bit heavy handed. Apologies!"

 

Hiya, Folks. Glad to join the crowd. Just a noobie, though, looking for suggestions with a problem:

Making a noobie mistake and not checking the TO, I accepted a couple of hits from a requester and didn't like them. I abandoned the hits and returned them, only to have them turn up as my first rejects. I didn't think that was allowed, and contacted the requester. Being the sleazeball the TO indicated (1/5), he never responded. Just wondering if I've got any recourse anywhere. I realize the Amazon TOS states that they don't want to get involved. Is there anything I can do, other than lick my wounds and learn from the experience? TIA.

 

You've got three different things here. Abandoned HITs are when you don't return them (the timer expires), and you can't get a rejection for doing either of those things. Are you sure you didn't accidentally submit a blank one?

 

So just to clarify, abandoned hits and returned hits have zero weight on anything. Is that right?

 

sometimes requesters will put those silly quals in hits but for the most part, no.

 

Kind of surprised that all those Crowd Task are gone already.
