Calebro, I hope you decide to come back. You are sorely missed, my friend. Lightening up is not in my personality, I'm afraid. If it were, I would have done so ages. It can be very tiresome being a serious type all the time. Oh well, can't be helped. But what I can help, is how big a dick I was being. I will still correct those who make mistakes or misuse terms, because Misinformation is actually a problem in today's world, but I'll be nicer about it in the future. I do have this to say however; if someone gets upset just because they were told they were wrong or they were corrected, that behavior is childish. I have no other way to describe this level of behavior. It is not offensive to be criticized or told you are wrong. Criticism and correction are good things. They allow reflection and refinery of ideas or actions. Let's take this particular conversation for instance, you are criticizing me, by telling me that I was being an asshole earlier. I am not angry, upset, or offended by you calling me out. Instead, I submit to you, that I was being an asshole and I have reflected on my actions and moving forward I will be less of an asshole while correcting someone, or I will at least try too. That can be rather difficult with someone of my personality type. It causes a lot of interpersonal relationship issues, but I digress. I will still attempt to do so in the future. I'm sorry that I was an asshole to you Coco. There were much better, nicer ways, to correct you. Friends? Edit: I keep looking for a .gif to put here, but I feel that would be inappropriate and I can't find one that accurately sums up how I feel. It also took over 10 minutes to type this out, I put thought into it and didn't just pound it out.
I still want to know where she said this wrong. I posted earlier that I thought it was funny how the whole thing started. In response to: cocobean said to which you responded Then the drama started, but only because you interpreted the statement in a way that you thought something was wrong with it. There was no claim that TurkAssist was a script and no intent to have incorrect information disseminated to the community. As we are often busy here, I read it as someone typing a concise message that explained what they (likely) were looking for without going into detail. Someone asked a question and they received a factual response, albeit one that can be read different ways. As turkers we sometimes participate in surveys or HITs about language and meaning and degree of impact and interpretation. This could be considered an example, maybe, I guess. I think a good way of going about this would've been "Are you specifically looking for a script that does this? If not, just to clarify, TurkAssist is not a script, but it's an extension you can use in the Chrome browser." And since we're all friends here, someone posted this here a few days ago, and considering your avatar... Good luck on this Tremendous Tuesday, Turkers!

That's one of those nice ways to correct someone, I was mentioning. For me, the issue was the answer, not the question. User asked if a script existed that met certain parameters and TurkAssist was reply, but TurkAssist is not a script. It is actually an extension only for Chrome. I've now explained myself and I am moving on. I don't wish to keep dragging this out. I was just replying to Calebro and giving an apology to Coco and the community. If anyone would still like to converse with me on this topic or w/e, feel free to PM me about it. I don't want to cause fights, I'm sick of fighting. I'm exhausted and drained. Frankly, I'm fucking lonely over here.

Wasn't trying to label you as an A-hole, it's just that it may seem to some that you come across that way sometimes, I think you give good info and try to relay good advice, but just in a more hardcore passionate way than some would but as everyone here should know, this is, a forum on the internet, and there are lot's of different personalities, so that means there's gonna be lot's of misunderstandings, drama, butthurt etc... but I say everybody needs to put a little humor in it just to smooth things out and take the edge off, but that's just me and my opinion. and like I tell everyone, don't take my memes/gifs or musings to heart, I am just a joker and want people to be happy...
