That can happen more often if you're nice to them, make them feel guilty, but most importantly make them understand they fucked up not you
That SRD $4.00 thing didn't work at all. I emailed the guy and said just submit anyway and they'd pay me. Already approved. Good peeps.
I will usually include a link to their TO when messaging them. I explain what TO is and how mturk workers use it to communicate about requesters and rate them. It's been surprisingly effective thus far.
I'm only at 17 and I'm an hour in. At what point should I just give up? I mean at this point I've given an hour to a $4 HIT, I really don't want to give them another. Edit: nevermind. He responded and told me to submit too.
I meant fuckups as in mistaken rejections happening more often. I'm fairly confident in my ability to to talk to requesters.
I gave up after number one when it didn't load to number 2. No way I would have done what you did. Email, can't hurt. They helped me.
I gave up at clip 30 after 45 minutes, and submitted with a note saying where I was and that at that rate I wouldn't finish in the time alotted.

I usually don't include to because that's almost like blackmail, instead I explain how a seemingly trivial action such as blocking can actually wreck the livelihood of hundreds of honest workers, and how I know they hadn't even considered that, and how it's actually not too late to make things right and build and even better reputation than pre-blocking

Hmmm. I'd never thought of it like blackmail. I don't say, REVERSE MY HIT OR ELSE. I just say, hey, I got x number of rejections from you and according to other mturk workers, it's happening to many of us and we're a little confused as to why. I'd love it if you would take a moment to review my work again and let me know exactly what it was that you feel that I've done wrong. I'll be happy to try again if you'd give me a chance. Also, I thought you'd like to know that there's a system in place where Mturkers communicate about requesters and decide if they have a good reputation. Thus far the requesters have actually been extremely thankful for me showing it to them. They don't realize it exists. But interesting. I'll have to keep the blackmail thing in mind.
All I've done this morning is return things due to writing, return things due to already completed previous one, or return ones on accident when trying to return a shitty one.
