Hey! How's your weather down there? Very cold and windy here (of course). My power went out last night around 6:30. And of course I didn't have my kerosene lamps ready - I have a bunch of antique lamps but only four of them had kerosene and one of those didn't have a wick. But at least the three that could be used helped some (note to self: buy kerosene and wicks). I fixed my son a couple of sandwiches by flashlight and heated myself up a can of soup on the wood stove. The power came back on around 8:30.....for about five minutes (long enough for me to log back onto the computer). It then came back on a half hour or so later - then back off a little later, which is when I just gave up and went to bed. But I've been up since 4:30 because the power was back on but the motion sensor light on my neighbor's house at the bottom of the hill keeps going on and off because of the wind which was freaking out my dogs. I'm already sick of winter and now they're talking about snow tomorrow - but I have a feeling that may be more of a Portland-Vancouver thing. Wishful thinking, maybe?
