Yeah, it's really good so far. And the project should run at least into late winter/spring and pays an actual decent American wage so I feel pretty fortunate. When I first went on there and saw all these people in the Phillipines willing to work for $3-4/hr., it kind of freaked me out. So I feel I'm in pretty good shape. At least compared to April when I was all "OHFUCKOHFUCKWHATAMIGONNADO?!?!!? Managed to turn it around on terms I can live with and I don't have to cook for anyone I don't want to! Is there good graphic design stuff on there? You can have all those. Not my forte. >: P
That's awesome! It really is tricky finding good pay on those sites. It's the main reason I don't spend much time there aside from the occasional browsing and idle curiosity. There's usually a lot of work I really want to do (writing stories, writing for games, writing scripts, etc.), but definitely not at those rates! The design stuff - meh. I usually see people looking for logos and things, which isn't really my forte at all. Been hoping to see some good illustration or print work, but that's a teensy bit harder to find.
Also it turns out Justin Crandall is a really nice guy who pays super quick. I need BDB to be here so I can tell him about how I did *too* do it right.
How long do you think the CATS will be posted? I just started them and I don't know how fast I should move at getting them done.
