If you're going for Spanish, check this out: http://www.amazon.com/Spanish-Reading-A-Self-Instructional-Course/dp/0764103334 It won't get you up to a conversational level, but you'll be able to read and write pretty well, which I guess might translate to speaking.
Yeah Spanish, but honestly, language learning in traditional text book format just doesn't do it for me. I prefer the "interactive" digital formats. Thanks though.
Well. That makes for a wonderful rejection. Damn cat slapped its tail down on the keyboard and hit Enter, submitting the HIT, as I was filling in the fields. Sent the requester a message, but the HIT was rejected minutes later. I think I'll take my $1.61 and call it a day.
I'm like this. I did okay in class with a teacher and a book, but I kind of prefer learning via games and software and shit. Interactive stuffs. How is Duolingo? I should peek at that eventually. My noob German is going to waste.

Duolingo is actually kind of fun. And sometimes, you actually learn more by making mistakes because a little window pops up explaining why something should be a certain way. I like it.
