    He's an academic. To him you're a research subject who couldn't be bothered to follow his (in his head) simple, obvious instructions.

    Which does not make him talking like that okay, it's just why he's not going to understand why it isn't okay readily. Does he have an IRB? I'd report him.

    As would I, I mean maybe don't take my advice because look at where the fuck I am right now but researchers are supposed to know how to dismiss data without being complete assholes about it.

    Independent Review Board, if I remember correctly - they'll be people at his university you can contact to complain. BDB knows more about contacting them than I do, though I don't know that he's likely to be around at this hour...

    (I meant internal. But moot anyway)
