I was idly wondering yesterday whether Amazon used something like number of quals - which would be a ridiculous criterion to use because people who just take surveys probably get more than anybody else, among other reasons. Then again, since there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, why not? I have 490 quals myself ATM, so maybe I'm 10 away from a golden ticket. (Though I haven't seen them handing out golden tickets lately, so . . . . ?)
Nobody knows anything for sure. I think there are some people who have it who do mostly surveys and not much else. Since Oscar left.
Mess of replacements up. And apparently somebody doesn't know the difference between a scraper and a hand sander.
I was giving him a chance. But really... now this guy is jerking off.... I was hoping for a film similar to Cannibal Holocaust, but I guess I was wrong.
right click inside the hit frame and reload the frame, that ususally works. But if you return any you get locked out.
Mturk needs some transparency on how Masters are selected and needs better business sense overall . I can't wait for the day when a new platform comes along and makes Mturk a poop stain in the crowd sourcing history books.

There's been loads of new platforms. But none that are worth it or up to scratch like mturk is. Maybe some day....*sigh*
For sure it'll need to be the primary business of whoever implements it, and not the little red-headed stepchild of a giant retail empire. Only a company like Amazon could get away with giving it zero support resources ("Yeah, your account got suspended for some weird reason...we don't know why, maybe create a new one, I dunno...stop calling us."), keep calling it "beta" after several years, have a total laissez-faire attitude towards abuse by both requesters and workers, etc. They don't care, because even if the whole thing implodes, it would probably be a rounding error on their balance sheet at the end of the year.
