$211. Don't usually turk Fridays, but this was a pleasant surprise. Off to enjoy a party or two. Enjoy your weekends yall.
What about Mark Cuban? Spoiler alert: Don't buy exercise devices that Lori invests in but Mark doesn't.
Nah, he was out. Reasonable hesitation - they couldn't get a patent for whatever reason, so it was one of those "get in, make money, get out quick" things, for one, and for two, he said he's not really into the infomercial space.
I'm pretty sure that I've seen very similar products -- and I haven't seen the episode yet, so I didn't see their pitch -- so I'm not surprised that they had patent issues. What IS the pitch? How is this something worth investing in? I know I can just give it eight hours and find out when I watch the episode, but spoiler it for me!
Mostly they're going after a more niche market. One of the women who developed it is 60, so they're going for the over 40 market. Also, the shape is a bit different from the usual planks. More sturdy to help with balance.
Their website doesn't reflect that at all. I see kids swiveling all over the place. I did notice that it looked more sturdy to help with balance...but part of the point is that these things aren't easy to balance on. It seems kind of like the $50 ab wheel that used springs to make it easier to pull the wheel back in, when the point was that it's supposed to be difficult. I don't know. I'm not buying into it, but I'd probably buy into it and try to sell it.
I am not sure what a fit board is but riding a motorcycle is amazing for core strength. I don't even workout anymore and still stay in pretty good shape just from riding. And yeah fallout 4 looks amazing. Probably going with that over bo3 as well. Comes out next week right
