I have a Xmas party to prepare for and here I am turking....
I emailed Mturk asking about Master's, and they sent me this:
Atleast you have your priorities in order
Unless theres a open bar at the party...
Did you email Jeff? He's the guy I'd reach out to if I had any issues.
If you’re an aspiring Master who’s been focused on a single work type, give a transcription task a shot or spend some time taking a survey.
Also, agree 100 percent with emailing Jeff. His secretary will definitely give you a better than that stock response. Won't do anything, but you'll get better treatment.
Does anyone know how to get HitDB to update more than the last few days? It keeps telling me I have hits from two months ago 'approved' that have long since paid. It's not that big a deal, but it's screwing with my OCD that it is not accurate. I tried to import a edited CSV file, but it keeps freezing Chrome whenever I try.
Jeff's heard of Mturk?
I thought about suggesting a transcription task, but I figured you had that on lock.
I am surprised I actually got a reply. I expected nothing
They'll reply. I remember at least one or two other people emailing them asking for Masters.
They just won't do anything but tell you to keep working at it.
I have a forum alert on my phone that texts me whenever forum members need guidance. That's why I'm the best.
I did that. They still gave the me stock reply for an answer.
Was that the time that I told them to email Jeff and they took me seriously, or was this a different time?
Think so, lol.
Now that I should probably be doing something productive, like sleeping, some good HITs came up. Figures.
(Well, I think they're good anyway lol)
I'm still not proud of that...
There are exactly 0 good hits up now.
