I always have had better results with the strips, because you can hang them in places where more go, because I find the majority of those kinds of gross things don't go towards a window. Last year, we had a fly infestation from an unknown source in a corner of the kitchen. I'm talking about full life cycle. I was screaming and vacuuming up maggots and jumping around like a crackhead, afraid something would drop on my head. Never could find what they came from and they disappeared in a week, never to return again. It's almost fish fly season here, again. It's gross, really gross.
I am turking with one hand because if you put down the zapper then they come land on you again. I will try the strips. Every store in town is selling them on the counter next to the register. I didn't get them because I was afraid one of the kids would somehow get one and I'd never get all the glue and dead flies off of them if I did. I hear they are VERY sticky and goopy, lol. But I'm desperate. They are so gross. If I didn't know everyone else had the same problem, I would be afraid to let people in the house because they'd call CPS. I am supposed to go get my new chickens tomorrow. Only getting 12 this time, but maybe they will attract them to the yard instead of so many in the house.
LOL, we don't have fast food places. Pizza or Chinese delivery is not an option. It's a super tiny town. I went for a visit home last week and when I came back, one of our police officers had passed away and one quit, so we only had one left. This is in the country, surrounded by farmland, 30 minutes from a Wal-mart kinda place.
