Yea, not super genius or anything though, and I'm pretty good at math although I'm extremely rusty, tried the "learning graphs" hit the other day and it's ridiculous how much I've forgotten in 4 years. But I was just thinking that stuff to get my mindset in the right place and I figure it would be some of the more beginner-type stuff. I'm somewhat familiar with linux and how to work with terminal (far from being self-sufficient). I know I've got the brain for it though, I just never wanted to get serious about it until recently. When in college taking Calc, I wouldn't pay any attention in class whatsoever, and would go home and teach myself how to do the homework. Ended up getting B's and C's for half-assing something I didn't care about
Well being proficient in linux and working with terminal are nontechnical stuff that doesn't really make one more fit for learning programming. Like the kid that made the other site, he was in his high school's computer club and wants everyone to think he's some hipster nerd that's good with linux and various technologies, but he will never be proficient at any programming language for the life of him because his brain's just not wired that way
The other site as in MTG? And I figured it wasn't much compared to writing, I think it's safe to say I've barely gotten a a pinkie toe in the pool of programming. I get the basic idea having only done/seen a small amount of stuff, I remember doing a little work in the intro CS class, and having always been good with logic-based stuff, I've always known it was something I could do but again, never took it seriously. Really makes me wanna give my younger self a talking to considering how much I didn't apply myself. Damn, I need to hop on these Smiths before they dry up
Yeah that was my nice way of saying he's not that smart a guy lol, even though he likes to have people think of him as a computer nerd / masterturker

I think some of this is close to what, say, writers do in revision or even technical writing. I had a very limited view of math until I took a logic course cross-listed with philosophy. Then I was like, oh, you can take this room and turn it into symbols on a page. That's what writers do, too.
Didn't realize there was a second batch mixed in with the John Smith's. Was able to do another 80. I would do a few, then a couple would get the these HITS are reserved for other workers message, then it would go back to me being able to do them.
Man, I really must be slacking. I've been hamming on them all day and night, and have yet to get a single one of those messages. Then again, all the expired HITs may have offset my potential ability to do enough to actually get that message in a single batch.
You aren't slacking as much as me.....if I capped out on each batch yesterday and today I'd be about $30 richer oh well, I enjoyed my Slacker Sunday, gonna hit it heavy today. Also, have yall been getting more deleted apps than usual? I feel like I'm getting 10 per batch, ridiculously easy money. And on another note, anybody have the wall st pandas? I haven't done one in about a month and I'm up for the day so I might as well edit: LMAO at the quotes in your sig, I love this place

Yeah, I've been getting a bunch of deleted apps on it, I love those HITs. They almost always come at the perfect time, like when I've got 15 seconds left to complete the first HIT in my queue with another 10 behind it. They've saved a couple of my queues from going bye-bye and getting me locked out for 10 mins. And yes, this place is great! 50% of my daily humor comes from MTF anymore. All you funny people, stay funny
