Haha. While I have not gotten such an email yet, I am sure it is coming. Gotta say thanks to Faithers - when she was talking about it earlier, I was curious so even though I only had $1.12 to transfer, I tried it out of curiosity
Even if I message him through mturk wouldn't he still get my personal email or is it blocked from requesters? I know it's not hard to figure out who people are with all the info they collect from us and our worker IDs but I just don't feel like making it super easy and handing over my info through email.
Good one! I actually checked my mail. (And I should know better, I used to work for those cheap bastards!) Anyway, yesterdays transfer to my AP account took 18 hours-- just in case anyone is sitting there hitting the refresh button every five minutes.
I think I recall in the past Amazon did reimburse some people with small amounts like $5 when they had trouble transferring in AP accounts...did they? Unless that was made up as well.

Notice when the requesters reply back to you with a copy of our messages, our emails are displayed to them when we send our messages through Mturk so yes they do get our emails so they can reply back to us.
I don't remember ever hearing about that. I thought the idea of Amazon reimbursing turkers for anything was so ludicrous that nobody would believe my fake message for a second. My bad everyone.
