at first i thought that was because there was hardly anything to do. but then that one time a few weeks ago when nobody could access any of their hits the queue really added up and after a half an hour there were 700+ hits to do. that number went down really fast and that was at night. so i realized there are a ton to do there is just a ton of people doing them.
Yeah but that loading time effects your hourly wage. It really effects your hourly wage if you have to panda them making it basically impossible to multitab. So say you do the hit in 2 seconds and if as you say loading time is longer just say another 3 seconds and you are now talking 5 seconds per penny for a grand total of 7.20 an hour or more aptly less then minimum wage and you have to babysit your queue.
LOL right! I won't even do the penny MyLikes and they are insanely fast, like one second click. But yeah, pennies are not worth it at all.
Not having to deal with captchas makes mylikes and zings a lot more appealing, to be honest. Things like Yoski and Eagle Eye are still a lot better, obviously.
Yeah honestly I dont do them as much as I used to, but I am confident that they helped me get masters, because before I started doing them I barely had 10K hits and in a couple months I had 45K and masters. Now I really just use them at the end of the night while Im watching Tv if I need a few hits to hit a goal. Leave a panda running get up every 20 minutes or so and knock out all the hits in a minute.
I mean I could somewhat see the appeal of lazily doing penny hits on a weekend as a master not having to deal with captchas so you can at least pretend you are working for the day. But doing hundreds of thousands of them especially as a non master just seems like madness to me.
i fricking hate the captchas. i don't mind them when they accept the captcha the first time but most of the time they either says the hit isn't available to accept or your entered the captcha wrong (99% of the time that is total bull...). and worst of all when i get suspended for 5 minutes. i consider that stealing money from me since i could of worked and made money for those 5 minutes. recently the 5 minute suspension has been going crazy. i've had times where i enter the captcha one time and i'm instantly suspended. i've had my computer on and when i walk up to it somehow i'm suspended.
When there is nothing going on I will let my queue fill up with venue and zings then check it every once in a while while I'm watching tv or something and do them all really quick. Then I start over again, it's great for days when there's nothing going on or I don't feel like working too hard. I don't think I'll ever max out on hits anyway.
i forget that not everybody has other income sources and uses this for supplementary income and to have something to do. so i'm fine with only making 30 or less in one day. i still do other hits as well as the penny ones. but with the penny hits i can leave my house without stopping my work all together. also if i just want to take a brake from doing complicated data entry hits then these help me with that.
Oh yeah as a newbie getting numbers they make total sense, but I consider that the hazing period of mturk. Doing them after that though is liking volunteering to eat the live goldfish and get paddled after you're already inducted though, apologies if this isn't at all what frats do my knowledge comes from movies I never joined one while at university.
Yeah I really dont understand the hate, I let my computer do the work and just get up off the couch every 20 minutes or so knock out the hits in a minute and get back on the couch, Im not wasting prime turking time, just collecting pennies in the down time.

does it take you 20 minutes to get a full queue or are you talking about you just check every 20 minutes. it almost never takes 20 minutes to fill up my queue. just either early morning or late night. i use turkmaster and have it set to every second on the zing hit.
i assume using context that panda is some kind of a hoarding method (something that automatically does the link that preview accepts a hit over and over again)? if so then i use turkmaster.
