This is from yesterday's thread, but I thought it was important to reply to it where people might actually see it. (I'm from AdultNetHITs, if you've ever messaged us it was most likely me who responded) We would love to get titles like the second one there. One of the biggest advantages to us in using Mechanical Turk is the variety of vocabulary and writing styles we get. We obviously allow vulgarity and slang, but it's not all we're looking for. We've gotten about 3.4 million titles and descriptions from Turkers so far. Any variety in writing style that still fits the rules (good spelling/grammar, describe the scene) is welcome.
Would rather not do the RnRs anyway and risk seeing something that can't be unseen but I do want to pass the qual! lol. I know there's one I'm missing but not gonna fret over it. Plenty of other HITs to do or will come up today. Hopefully.

lol interesestingly enough I have provided titles almost exactly like both of the ones cited. 3.4 million though didn't realize it would be that high a volume but I guess it makes sense. Take it the 3.4 million is counting both before and after the name switch right.
I don't know how you managed to get to $40 out of it. I'm just shy of $9 and I think I'm bowing out for now. That may be because I only had 3 hours of sleep though. I think it's time for a nap.
Yup, our database stayed the same, just had to switch what account codes were being used to interact with Amazon's system. Also, there have been 1.3 million HITs that aren't writing (tagging, actor info, images, watermarks). Those only need to be done once per scene, while we get new text done for each site the scene will be on.

Even with a script, productRNR seems to take longer than they should. I'll do them if there's nothing else to do, but I don't get very excited about them. And that is why I can't do them. I have a 3 year-old who wanders in and out of the room. Can't have that stuff coming up. Not ready to deal with those questions yet.
