As someone who relied for over a month solely on Reddit's postings along with what few HITs I could find on my own, I can confirm that this is a better place. I was lucky to get to 10 bucks a day over there. Here, I'm usually over 20, and got up to 60 last Monday.

It's like that at first. Every now and then, a decent batch will show up with low qualifications. Just go crazy on that. Once you get 500 or 1k approvals, a whole new world opens up. Then another one at 5k and 10k. At any rate, my Internet decided to take a crap on me for the night, and it's nearly impossible to Turk on a phone, so I'm going to bed. Happy Turking!
I stick to this thread almost all the time although I know some other people read other parts of the forum. I think this is the best place to find hits. I think you should look at some hits under 20 cents. That's going to limit you largely to surveys. Surveys are best way to earn money when you're new but it's tough to be limited to them. I disagree with hBobh a little bit. IMO ten cents a minute is a good standard to measure by but there's a learning curve when you're new. I think one of the reasons to do safe one cent hits is just to get used to doing quick repetitive work. It also makes it easier to do a variety of different tasks and discover which ones work best for you.
Everyone has their different search techniques. First, make sure you have HITDB and TO (turkopticon) extensions installed. There's a nice script link up top that can help you figure out where to find them. I personally like to start at $1 and then tick "that you're qualified for" box. Sort by most recent. Check out TO on things you aren't sure of. Sometimes it's helpful, sometimes it's not, but it's come in handy for me a few times. Read the hit main page before accepting. If it sounds like too much work (30-40mins for .20) don't do it. Sometimes requesters over estimate their times, so that's where TO comes into play. I then work down in .25 increments. If you want a good batch, search for .10 and sort by "most available". Again, check TO. Don't be afraid to return hits. The stats rarely count against you, worry more about rejects and approvals. HITDB for FF also has the auto-approve in it, so that's a nice tool to know how long something will take to pay out. If you're grinding for the sole purpose of fast numbers, find things under 2 days. Sometimes you can write basically anything you want with those but there is the keyword to add and you look at the topic for the site it will go on there is always a topic for that and a link at the bottom for the site it is from on, as some cases the topic says anything fits or something like that, so you can use info from the kink or if it says anything believe them and write anything. so you may have up to 3 topics, key word, site it goes on and site the keyword will link too. You can really write pretty much anything you want. I did a click here one I think it was one of the ones for a security site and or maybe it had something to do with health, they are blurring together. But I wrote something like I read this info and you can read more about that with a click here. Oh and he is forgiving if the grimmer isn't perfect with a keyword. So if you say did read more by click here(instead of clicking here) he's cool with that. Seriously just start typing something it's a blog post. Try to have it be on subject for the site it goes on and or the key word but the site it goes on is preferred. I talked about remodeling my house and putting in security, buying a house and mentioned putting in security and someone stealing from my garden and making me want to put in security lights but most of the article was about gardening pretty sure they were all for the same site being advertised but one site the post was going to be on mentioned lighting an another mentioned gardening. Really I just start writing and something just spews out.
