I don't like it when I'm doing a survey, and they show a worthy charity, and ask if I want to give part of my bonus to the charity. It makes me feel really guilty. I much prefer giving to a charity directly, so I know the money is going to the charity. And I like really researching a charity before I give to the charity.
IS there some kind of script to make these bergs fly faster? Seems people are really cleaning up on them.
How's that? I went back to where you were at and beat my own score doing it again lol. It's not one of the harder ones.
Half is reasonable though right? That's what I always do on those. I feel like they won't give me any bonus at all if I tell them to give me the whole thing and I also feel nice giving to an organization that helps people when it has no real cost to me other than "bonus" time. Don't hate, appreciate.

I used to give half but some where down the road I stopped doing that. Now I donate little to nothing depending on if I immediately recognize the charity. I figure if I want to donate to charity I can always do it directly after having chosen a charity of my choosing that aligns with the things I find appropriate.
Have you seen the occasional survey (usually involves typing a paragraph or solving those "which box completes the pattern" puzzles" where they say - If you stop now, you will be paid for this hit but if you just spend a few more minutes solving puzzles/typing then we will give money to a charity. Do you want to continue? Those surveys annoy me more
If I even start to feel guilty about keeping that bonus instead of donating it, I take a look at my bank statement and find the last time the ASPCA and NPR automatically withdrew money from my account. I've done my part for the things I personally consider worthwhile, and I'm happy to yank every last penny out of the work I'm putting in.
We were cleaning up on them when most of them were 1-3 pages. These 38 page ones are a ripoff. They might just be posting those because that's what everybody has been returning for the past couple days.

Oddly enough, those don't bother me as much. And I usually continue them. You are right. I want to keep the bonuses I earn! But I do donate monies to charity too. I'm not 100% greedy. Just some.
Any bonus that can "be donated to charity instead" is mine, 100%. There's no way of knowing if that money will actually be sent to the charity. Many studies will also use charity donations as part of their study deception, some will tell you this in the debriefing, some will not.
