Hey guys, verryyy slow day for me. I was just sitting here wondering what the best way to deal with captchas is when you're working on panda'd HITs or a batch. Is there a trick to get through them quickly or avoid them altogether? I saw Adaaam mention that he does something with a VPN and a second computer, does anyone know how that works? I never got full details.

What kind of captchas are you talking about google captchas or captchas from mturk itself. If it is google captchas to pull off Adaams trick you need two computers and you will have 1 computer running the VPN and 1 computer without and you will alternate between these two computers this basically lets you do twice as many searches per time interval without getting captchas. If its Amazon captchas no such trick will work since it is account based only way to get rid of those is by getting masters. Best way to work around them is having something notify you when a captcha pops up so an audible ting from like mturk tools works. This will let you switch to the tab to enter the captcha.
