Wow. Just installed script to import HITS to the forum and ended up with like 5 programs installed onto my computer that I didn't want. Had I known, I wouldn't have installed it. Removed it all. smh...

The latest from Tyler Ritchie, what are your thoughts? (keep in mind I was given 6 rejections out of approximately 100) I'm checking the backend code to see if something is getting assigned improperly. Do you have any suggestions on how I can improve these HITs to make them better for all of the workers? I was thinking of breaking it out into two sets, one to identify the broad services offered and the next to identify the specific service. The tricky part are the companies where the services offered are explained two to three links deep in on the page (trying to tease out that some rural MUD offers garbage instead of sewer). Obviously a higher HIT reward would be necessary but that would be reasonable with turkers as accurate as you have been if I could avoid running multiple passes per HIT.
That's the link I used. Yes from here. I got the link from Naisybee or someone here on today's HIT somewhere when someone asked for it. It installed 7Zip file, antivirus-program, help program, PC clean-up and some other junk. I was freaking out. I have a new computer less than a year old and I don't need some unknown junk on it. I was glad I was able to uninstall it all...hopefully. I'm not sure if I have tampermonkey I recall I had to install something in order to get the Turkoption to work. That's the only thing I've installed here so far.

It sounds good. when i went back and looked at the hit i think mine should of been rejected. If i understand that right he's saying the computer is checking the work. what i dont understand is if the computer can find the answer why does he have hits. Maybe im just completely confused
i didn't see what was posted before, but we only get 'worked up' when people start talking about exactly what the AC was... requesters read the forum, and if they know we're discussing ACs on the surveys there's a good chance they'll stop posting them. knowing in advance what ACs to look out for makes it much easier to scam the surveys, it gives the requesters bad data, and makes putting work on mturk pretty much pointless for them. even if we assume we're all honest survey-takers, there's hundreds of people lurking throughout the day who might not be.
