I have a soft block. Without ever doing any work for this guy in the past (at least, that I can find...).

I took the "easy" test yesterday. Still haven't heard anything back. Crowdsource had this set up first. Their interface is very nice and I recommend opening an account there.

Yeah I have Dashboards with both and have done many of both of their HITs... Am very familiar with both... But CrowdFlower seems to be getting their act together a bit so I might do some of their Q&A or writing if it pays as well as Crowd Source. I was just giving every one else a heads up. :D I have all the badges with CF accept Wordsmith.

EDIT: It was CS and CF that helped me get past that first 500 HIT hurdle... As with most Turkers as you go to 1k HITs, and 2500 HITS and 5k HITs and beyond you just start doing more profitable work and some of the other CF and CS stuff just kind of is used as a fill in and falls to the way side a bit at times. I don't disparage the work, if it wasn't for them who would ever get their approvals up enough to do much of anything - but like I said, we move on... Now CS and their Top Tier is great... And the sentiment HITs from both are awesome. And if you have the Q&A qual from CS that is great too. I'm referring to the beginning stuff and to CF's horrible QC system that appears to be improving.

    Just a Reminder Everyone...

It is NOT okay to discuss anything about ANY survey or study other than basically that it is available, how long it took, whether it was worth doing, what the TO is, whether you got paid / rejected, etc.

Any content of ANY study or survey, even the most mundane detail, is simply not allowed.

We hate to be hard on the issue but most of these are being done by graduate students with very limited budgets coming to us as Turkers to get unbiased data. Any discussion of ANY detail of the survey or study runs the risk of corrupting that data.

The community can not and will not be a part of that process that has the potential of requiring these excellent jobs from being posted for us.

This is not directed at any particular person or post - just a reminder...

    I hope you understand.

    Thanks!
