On the upside, Lumen is keeping me from doing this one: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2NPDAT2D5NQYSXVH8PAGATZTPJ0376 The interface for this makes me want to stab my eyes out.
You are right (and so was he/she that I was arguing with). I was thinking that center box was also Ask.com. My mistake and I'm really sorry!!
OK, I'm normally fairly decent at figuring out wtf is being said in (written) spanish but wow....just wow.....
Lumen just sent me to one I recall from Nana's first batch of HITs (before they started asking for 150-word essays at the end of the HIT): http://www.medicinenet.com/swollen_ankles_andor_swollen_feet/symptoms.htm Nana's batch had piles of these MedicineNet pages. This was another batch of sites I couldn't fathom. Makes me wonder how related the two batches are. Doing the MedicineNet batches for Nana all I could think was "how hard is it to search for WebMD, the Mayo Clinic and and the NIH?
i was done with lumenosities. did some NANA HITs. you can never stop turkin >.> Edit: I am not full of lies! replace that word with sunshine and rainbows. but in a totally hetero way. manly rainbows...with fire...and explosions....
Can someone explain to me how to do the NANA hits? Do I sign up for the site and then it gives me an article? I tried to do that, but it says the page doesn't exist. Halp!
I stopped doing them. The Nana batches have gotten increasingly worse. They used to be very straight-forward "tell us why this website is crap or good". Very much in my wheelhouse, as I've done SEO and web design work. Now they're just asking too damned much for 35 cents. The last time I did one, they were asking for a short essay on a topic AFTER you did the batch. And those batches are now largely just sitting there unworked because of it.
To anyone using firefox and doing these Lumenosity hits, do yourself a favor and install the checkfox addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/checkfox/ It'll save your clicking finger from falling off if you intend to do all 900+ hits.
Here's an equivalent for Chrome users (requires Tampermonkey or an equivalent): http://www.squarefree.com/2005/04/13/checkrange/ Simply press Shift+Click the first and last box in the range you wish to check. Edit: My eyes! They were getting so used to the green too D:
That awkward moment when your "male friend" walks in and sees you opening pages on early signs of pregnancy at 3am. Thanks Lumenosity! ...
This is probably saving me from getting CTS and increased my speed on doing those hits by at least 30%. Managed to hit my 100 limit in only 70-80 minutes. (only 3rd day turking) I have a feeling these Lumenosity hits are setting me up for disappointment later when my $/hour drops severely.
