Can't Find Good HITs? 9/27

Well it worked fine for me yesterday. I was able to do all that I attempted aside from one (which actually was also a UC one). He has a good TO too so I'm not worried about unfair grading. Just return any you can't find and wait for a better batch to pop up!

 

This is why I said you have to pick and choose, some of them are not worth it and i leave those alone but then others you can find the course number and name very easily. But these aren't scams, i've gotten paid for them. The instructor ones are even better because most of the time you can find the instructor for a course quickly, but even some of those aren't worth it either.

 

I just skip through the hits if I know they're BS. The majority of them aren't possible. For example, one currently asks for course numbers at a middle school. Middle schools don't use course numbers, they used subjects. If you were to submit it without a course number, you'd be rejected. The guy is dumb as far as I'm concerned.

 

Like bredeanf and I said, skip these ones. He DOES post legitimate ones though, this is just a really wonky batch.

Economics, school of ecology? It's like you pick a random professor and their courses. Nothing adds up. I've gone through 15 different HITs and nothing makes sense. He never has. I went through 30+ of them last week and they were as bad and all US colleges.

 

These are some that I also have stayed away from because I have no clue what he's looking for here. I did send some where I simply put N/A and an explanation in the comments box so we'll see what he says about that.

 

I sent him a message just now explaining how silly these HITs are. A while back there was one on elementary schools and their course numbers. SMH

question for you transcribers out there, do you think $37 for 70 minutes transcribed is fair market or super under paid?

i'm pretty knew to transcription so want to know before I decide if I want to do it or not. Thanks.

Typically you get about $1 per 3 minutes. That's a very good rate, as long as the audio is clear.

 

Terribly sorry about asking this but do you remember whether or not we have to accept a HIT or if they just credit us the survey as a bonus?
