Is there a thread where people list Requester IDs for the best regular HITs? I'm trying to set up the TurkAssist HIT Monitor since I can't get Turkmaster to display on my dashboard.

I had a similar question since I just created a TurkAlert account and it only accepts requester ID's and not requester names. I don't think there is one. If you need IDs for a few requesters I'm sure we can help.

Edit: It would be a good idea to create a thread with a list but someone would have to constantly edit\reorder it with new addtions.

Speaking of which is there something i can use for like a panda for a specific requester not just a specific HIT? So when say requester X posts anything I panda it automatically?

If you are using TurkMaster you can. Click the requester's name and it will open up a page with all hits from the requester and there should be a "Watch this requester?" button. If the requester doesn't have any hits up you can search for the requester and use the "Watch this page?" button.

Edit: note that you can't panda a requester, just the hits so the TM will only alert you that the requester has posted a hit.

I don't know of such a thread, but if you have been using HITdb or TurkAssist, you can get the requester IDs there.

And if you really want to use Turkmaster - I run Turk Assist and HitdB in Chrome and Turkmaster and Scraper in Firefox at the same time. There are a few hassles with that - It's not immediately obvious which requesters I've already worked for in Scraper, for example - but nothing major.

That said, I'm probably going to pull the trigger on Turk Assist eventually. It's pretty, but the other scripts/extensions work better.

TO is good for getting IDs. Just go to the website, search for the requester name and you can get their ID.

You can get alerts when a requester posts with Turkmaster, but it won't automatically grab whatever that hit happens to be, no.

You can get the id number under the requesters name in TO. Looks like a DIY project.

Welp, looks like ABE Market Research has no intention of removing the reject from last week so they permanently stay on the sh*t list.

Yeah I aready knew that...just wish there was a way to auto grab the HITS because by the time I get the alert and click on them they are already gone half the time. but then I guess if people could auto panda hits like that nobody would have a chance at getting any HITs
