I haven't turked for most of a year, and logged on a few days ago to discover my hit database isn't working any more. I've messed around with the patch and installing and reinstalling it all, but whatever I do, when I click the update button I get the "script monkeys are preparing to start work," notification. But it stays like that, forever, never updating. Is there a thread about this somewhere? (in Chrome)

A board just floated past my front door, under the carport with two of my chickens on it. I now have two chickens in my house in a large dog crate.
I hate you're going through this, I know it must be very scarey, but the visualization of chickens floating by the house on a board is hilarious.
So we might be adopting a dog! She was featured on SSD on Facebook (Susie's Senior Dogs), and I fell in love with her. People from the rescue came today to inspect the house and make sure it could accommodate her needs. I'm pretty stoked. If you think that's funny, you should have seen me out there trying to catch them. Luckily they didn't stray far from the board. In other news, the chief of police came out and said our drainage ditch is clogged, and despite the fact that it is their responsibility, they aren't sending anyone else out. They DID afterall send out a guy in hip waders with a shovel, and he couldn't get it unclogged himself. WTF? Seriously?
