It's one of the better nights this week. I've gotten nothing but a lecture on aquifers and hydraulic conductivity. Pretty interesting stuff. The professor has a slight accent, but it's not too bad.
I looked back into the history of crowd task, namely from November last year. What exactly happened? Did Amazon themselves get involved in the situation? Reddit isn't telling me much. And I've heard they are ar-wa reviewed. Is that always how it's been or just since that fiasco?
It's just audio. I don't really like the audio ones either, lol. I avoid them like the plague because they're usually conference calls. Those are the worst.
I wasn't turking when it happened (wait, Nov. of last year? that's when I started here, but I thought it was before then...), but my recollection of seeing people mention it over the months... Everyone was doing Crowd Task normally on a batch. Then there was a second batch the same day that was broken, but some people did it anyway. Crowd Task then rejected everyone? including those who didn't work on the broken batch, just everything for the day or something. It somehow got sorted out. I don't know if there were any blocks or if Amazon got involved. I thought they were AR-WA reviewed, but I don't know if they still are or if they were before the event. Sorry if this isn't helpful beyond what you already read, or if it's wrong, someone please correct me.
