I'm stuck in a really difficult place choosing between presents for my boyfriend for Christmas. Ugh! Why can't tech guys make it easy and choose ONE thing they want rather than giving me a whole list of things..
Is it safe to give out your ID to a requester? I had a reject and she wrote me back saying she could no longer see rejected IDs (maybe because her HIT is finished? IDK) Anyways, she said she would email Mturk and get back to me. I was just wondering if it would be safe to send her my ID number for her references.
The fact that she wrote me back at ALL is suprising according to her TO. I'm really crossing my fingers that she's just an inexperienced requester. How should I let her know about reversing rejects? Is there a place on this forum I can send her a link to?
if she has had a record of good to, I dont think you have much to worry about. She just might not know that you can look at old hits and see worker ID's + group work ID's here's how you reverse a rejection http://mechanicalturk.typepad.com/b...ignments-in-the-requester-user-interface.html

Yes, I think smurgle lives in Aceh. (That's why seeing the post made me so excited that I couldn't sleep). But now the excitement is over, and I fear I found no postworthy HITs for any of the rest of us. I got nary a pebble since coming back. (projected day's earnings=0.11). "This time, for sure" -- Good night, all!
Morning everyone. Another early morning. But at least I'll have tomorrow off from the regular job and will be back here on and off all day. Woo hoo! So any good batches out there or anything good for that matter? And had a freaky weird snow and ice storm last night where I live. But at least it wasn't a blizzard or anything.
i swear if I ever manage to get this approval % up above 95 again I'll guard it like I would my child. Shesh. Seemed easy to get it up from 80% to 90% now its just like sheesh cant you give me a 0.1% already??
Has anyone had trouble with Firefox marking two bubbles instead of changing to the other bubble when doing surveys? I always used Chrome, but I recently started using Firefox. Problem is, on Firefox, if I am doing a survey and want to change my answer (choose a different bubble than the one I clicked) it marks both bubbles instead of switching. It is really annoying because I end up having to refresh the page and do all of the bubbles again. Does anyone know why it would be doing that?
Sounds like a glitch, ive always used FF and never had that issue. Maybe try giving it a little time to see if it corrects itself (fill in wrong bubble, change answer, 2 bubbles appear, wait a little bit to see if the "wrong bubble" empties itself)
