You know I've been trying a few of these short transcription tasks. I really enjoy the work surprisingly, but I'm just not quick enough for it to be lucrative. It takes me around 2 and a half minutes for the 12cent hits, and that's when the are very clear speaking. Maybe it's one of those things that gets better with experience, but it's hard to justify grinding them to get better when there are other things to take up my time on mturk.
