Has anyone done any of the new batch of Amazon-Tahoe? I did a bunch of the last one and didn't get any rejections but I see now that they want you to select at least one character or theme. Was that rule on the last one? I don't recall seeing it before. I mostly selected other/none because the character wasn't listed or I didn't recognize them but I always selected a theme.
Yeah, but they're actually not too bad. Most of the videos are 2-3 minutes (at least they were last time) and you breeze through the questions after you've read them a few times. Approval and pay is fast too. Plus some of the videos are really entertaining...I'd forgotten how funny some cartoons are. I'm gonna try some while I take a break from Crowdsurf and hope I don't wake up to a bunch of rejections tomorrow.
In the unlikely event anyone is tempted to do "Do math exercises (no experience required)" from Joseph Jay Williams... Don't. One confusing, confused, screwed up survey. Dumped it within two minutes, which is just as well given what TO says about the time estimate.
Today's HITs Back again with all of the HITs that were posted inside today's thread so far. =] Just click on the button below and you will be brought to a page with all of the preview links on it. (It's on JSFiddle, which is like pastebin for code.) You can right click the preview links and press T to open them in a new tab quickly. You can also use your middle mouse button. (Tab trick tested in: Chrome & Firefox) Red links are visited and green links are not. Note: If the Today's HITs button doesn't work please let me know.
Had my pandas running, didn't catch either of them. I did get 3 of them last night though so I'm not going to complain.
Is it the 12 hour auto log out? If so, and I know this is obvious, but I've found it worth it to get in the habit of always logging out and in when I sit down to turk.
Maybe I was looking at different HITs but the one I looked at you had to watch a video and then answer questions. 7 cents is a horrible pay rate.
Yep, that's the one. Problem is I often turk on and off all day: 10 minutes here, an hour there, as time permits... I'd be logging in and out a dozen or more times a day. I always remember to reset at the start of the day, but the 12 hour thing often sneaks up on me.
You were looking at the right one. I guess it's subjective. I'm still new with lower numbers and less qualifications than most of you so to me this is way better than receipts or those typing ones that take forever for 10 cents.
