I'm just confused on how race had anything to do with this story. Couldn't you have told the same story without mentioning they were of a minority? I mean it could have just as easily been stupid white kids. Pretty sure every race is capable of stupidity. *shrug*
When I first started, I was lucky if I made a dollar a week. It got a lot better after I got to 1000 hits. Now I average $14 per week on slow weeks. I know that's not as much as some here, but it's getting better every week and it's something. It takes time. Don't give up.
Texas laws is bogus bs. There's laws saying we can't shoot someone for entering our premises. But at the same time there's laws that contradict that. If someone doesn't brandish a weapon in front of you, then you're not supposed to shoot, however, in most cases it the city it takes police 5-10 minutes to get to the house. Sometimes 5-10 minutes is 5-10 minutes too late if you know what I'm saying? One of the hidden laws says if a burglar makes eye contact with the owner, that can be enough to sense threat, and shoot. However, I was charged for shooting someone in the back trying to escape out the back. Now I'm no longer permitted to carry any kind of firearm, if I use fist it automatically violates my parole, but my Parole Officer never said nothing about owning a Big ol' Buddy. Around this season, if you live in the wrong parts it can get rough. People are ruthless around the holidays when it comes to breaking in houses. My parents live in a fairly wealthy neighborhood and had 30+ burglaries last year. Many, many home invasions around the holidays, knock, and people running in the house. I've always had a love for German Shepherds now I'm going to fall in love all over again.

Why tell a story and leave out parts? TV shows don't censor to meet certain peoples standards? Have you watched any comedy shows lately? I'll go ahead and express my opinion with my first amendment right; Freedom of Speech. Rather than mentioning the nasty word I wanted to use, I used a very, very polite word. Can you tell me why a White person is not allowed to call a black person the n-word, but a black person is allowed to refer to a white person as a honky tonk? But again, I'll express my freedom of speech. I have the utter most respect towards hard working hispanics, whites, asians, and blacks. But I can't stand a nigggga. Want to know the difference in a black person and a niggggga? It's easy to tell, the black person has enough logical sense to wear his pants on his waist where they belong. A niggga thinks it's proper to have his pants on his ankles with is arse hanging out of his pants, even though his momma defiantly didn't teach him that. I lived with many of them for years. I grew up in a church and left prison with black hatred tattoos on my body and proudly wear them, once again, not because of blacks, but because of the niggas. :juggle: Blacks can be good people. Asians are good people. Whites are good people. Hispanics are hard working and good people. But niggggas are no good and I'm not afraid to speak my mind if you can't tell. I think they lack common sense, lack respect towards people and life in general, and hold the slave days against everyone and everybody. Blacks again, are good people. Nigggas like to break in hard working peoples houses, and that's the kind of people I like to put the hollow tips in they're back.

And when I calculate how much I make it just makes me feel so sad and pitiful.... But I will keep at it and hope things get better... to be fair some days aren't bad at all. it's just that right now this is my only source of income while I figure out what the heck I want to do with my life :-/...

When I first started I didn't know about this forum. I just clicked on Hits Available to You with the word survey in the search box. Then I went down the list and just did every one I could. I didn't know I was supposed to expect .10 per minute. I don't think you can expect that when you are starting out. I was working for the money and didn't know about building my numbers until after I found this forum. After that I would work until I made $5 per day and once I made that goal I would work on Oscars or whoever was safe to build my numbers. You can't look at it by dividing the money and the hours you put into it. Look at it and realize that no matter how much money you have accumulated it's more than you would have had if you had just played video games all day.
I get that. This right now is my only source of income as well. Make small goals for yourself. Like say $10 a day. Then when you find that easy to accomplish on most days (cause there are those slow, want to rip out your hair, days) then bump it up when you feel ready for it. If you make more than your minimum great! But if it's one of those days, at least you made what you set out to make, and it's time to call it a day.
