I couldn't find an opponent for arena hearthstone so I decided to check scraper. I'd have been pissed if I missed virals.
where's that panda thread? (That's code for "someone give me the Panda for Virals. I just don't want to look like That Person.") My TM never works. Ever.
Thank you! I need TM advice. I try to use it, but I always go back to Scraper because I just don't think TM works. Obviously, it does for others, so I want to make it work for me, too. So, say I think Burke is going to post something soon. I've got DRA, WARJ, and BRO set up in TM. So if I run them each with 1 or 2 second delay, and tell it to accept and NOT stop once it accepts, I could (in theory) end up with a queue full, right? It doesn't happen. And I know that lots of other people are trying to grab them, but I NEVER get any (not just Burke, anything really) so I worry that I'm doing it wrong.
I don't use TM, maybe someone else will be able to help. But you are welcome. I just set up a url refresher when something posts, because I am not online or at home all day and can only turk periodically
Yes, In theory that would work as long as the supply of HITs coming through was decent. Personally I try to run them at slightly different delays so they all come through evenly, 2-3-4 second type setup. I can't run multiple 1 seconds without issues haha.
Setting 3 on such short timers will most likely get you errors for loading pages too quickly. Usually I'll put a few Burkes on 4-5 second timers and as soon as 1 pops I check to see which one it is and then set it to 2 seconds and turn the others off.
It's a burke + a video for 25 cents. I mean I understand you can do more than 20 but still I don't enjoy em haha.
I would prefer if the pay scaled to the length of the video. Maybe mTurk will introduce such a feature with all the money they're raising with the price raise.
Plus depending on your internet connection (?) and hardware (?) even running a single PandA at 1 or 2 seconds might be more like 2-5 seconds or however long it normally takes you to reload a page or two. I think. Someone feel free to correct me.
