my guess is like Chi national accounts do them no good, they want it for the specific address mentioned. Haven't heard official word though, just skipping those. So close to tapping out anyways
still waiting for one comedic soldier to either a. do a cannonball b. have a teammate throw a nerf football in the air and catch it on the way down c. do the wiley coyote and walk off the end obliviously. backyard diving olympics
LOL I don't think anyone's about to throw this competition after all they've been through. They're diving outside because the indoor pool(s) keeps turning green. Um, ew? And the wind outdoors is 45+ mph. Ugh. I would've quit days ago lol.
hah didnt even dawn on me why there is wind in diving. outdoors?? what is this amateur hour?...putting it on.
Yeah it's blowing these poor guys all over the place. I wasn't joking that a diver almost got blown off the damn board like a leaf lol. The pool's been gross for days. I guess they finally demanded they use another one, so they tossed em outside.
I don't even know, but I do remember turning on diving a few nights ago and thinking - am I losing it or is the water actually green? Ugh. Edit: Wait...it's the outdoor pool that's green? Ugh hell I don't even know LOL. Maybe they finally fixed it then. http://www.nbcolympics.com/news/rio-officials-drain-green-water-diving-pool-saturday-evening
When a picture just isn't enough http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-says-german-diver-stephan-feck-a7188916.html
They changed the water in one outdoor pool because of the green water and the judges needed to see below the water for the synchronized swimmers. The indoor pool was green the other day but I haven't watched any today.
I don't know if they fixed this stuff or if it doesn't apply to diving, but http://www.cbsnews.com/news/experts...etes-of-viruses-in-water-days-ahead-of-games/
Ew, so two pools? Yuck! The pool they were in tonight was outdoors and blue, so they must've refilled it. So gross.
Saw an article earlier today where they said "chemistry isn't an exact science" . . . Ya know it kind of is
hahahaha! Well, we have had many pools and keeping the water from turning green was horrendous. Getting the right chemical mix was a pita!!
Sounds like they're talking about the open waterways and beaches. That'll affect the sailing and stuff like that. This is a different issue with the swimming/diving pools. It's all so awful. Edit: I think this is why the NBA chose to spring for a yacht to stay on instead of staying in the Olympic Village.
Thats not diving, those are referring to outdoor water sports, with bodies of water that raw sewage is flowed into (i.e Rio lacks the proper infrastructure to treat the wastewater they generate).
"yacht" is what we're calling brothels these days? all in all, this Rio coverage makes me wanna rewatch City of God. What a great flick.
